Womens G 1 - 0 HKU B

HKFC Gs Vs HKU B – Sat 19^th November 2011

This week saw the G team take on HKU with another trip over to Boundary Street.

The G team started well and the game was pretty even despite a couple of unlucky conceded short corners (which the defence dealt with efficiently!).  The Gs kept up the pressure and showed skill and determination, which enabled them to dominate the half.  Just before half time an amazing run by Ash led to a goal that put us 0:1 up! 

During the second half the team did not rest but kept up constant pressure trying to get that second goal.  A number of hits on the oppositions goal showed the commitment but at the end of the game the result stood at 0:1.

MVP was Lauren who had an amazing game and drank the obligatory tequila afterwards.
