HKFC C vs Recreio A

Result: 1-1

The C team showed up in full gear blue gear. A 13-man strong squad made up of a mix of our young talent and old robust dinosaurs at the back. The first part of the first half the C team dominated the pitch by creating multiple opportunities in Recreio's side of the pitch. However, the unthinkable happened and Recreio made it in to C teams Dee and created havoc. Their was scrimage and the ball bounced around between some sticks and unfortunately landed on Nick's foot twice before slowly rolling behind the Cat's back and in to the goal. Yes we scored but the goal went to Rercreio.

1-0 to Recreio at half time wasn't a true reflection of the game and we were ready for Chappy's thunderous speech which we took in like men (i think). In second half the C-team were back in form but still had hard time scoring. Ralph missed a great opportunity by chipping the ball over the keeper, the goal and yes cleared almost the fence as well. But Tim made up for it by scoring a fabulous goal to get to 1-1. Unfortunately we couldn't get more out of it but we got together as a team and changed potential loss in to a draw.

Man of the Match: Tim Cairns for an excellent goal.
