what a shame girls, I'm still feeling sore after this loss. We went out with confidence and played our game for the first 10 mins and the last 15 mins, somehow we got lost in the middle (not helped by poor umpiring). The Ds have some excellent young, strong players who brought the game to us. We battled to keep them out and almost turned the game over into a draw but we ran out of time. Club v club games are always tough, especially when you're the team that's expected to win. Let's put this behind us and focus on other, less psychologically draining, opponents. Player of the match- Katy Spooner.
