Mens F 0 - 2 Dragons A

 Dear F Team,

 

Well the bright start to the day pettered out fairly quickly to a hard fought but disappointing loss to Dragons A.

I have to curtail this report due to a sudden trip to Shanghai so will just say in fact we played well and if a little disjointedly or "individually" at times, had as much possession and play as the opposition.

Dragons had few chances but managed a goal in each half. We had not so many more open play chances but maybe 10 short corners that come what may were near all on target with one of the bar, but just not going in.

A good effort by Jeroen, Walter, Dave Watt ( literally flown in to HK at 7.30am ) Tim, Fergus and JP in the back line, and midfield of Chris, Thorsten, Bertie, Pete & Buno. up front the usual suspects of Tom, Dermot and yours truely.

 

Not to be,,so we move on to our next game ( and next email ) for Thursday. we'll need to get a few points on the cards prior to seasons end to ensure safety, then just concentrate on our CUP run !
