Mens F 1 - 2 Recreio B

Dear Team,

Going to have to be a short-report again as too busy today.

Unfortunately another narrow loss to Recreio in what would I believe have been quite different on an astro pitch, but thats the way it and HKHA make it go.

We had a good turnout of 14, and despite overcast skies and a fairly slippery and muddy pitch, the game was on.

As ever the Recrieo pitch makes it a whole different game and though we all did well enough, Recreio managed to get 2 goals upfront within the first half hour. We were defending well and were a bit unlucky on the 2nd goal with our defence caught high and Kubo stranded between two Recreio players who passed around him and scored.

Still we came back and had numerous attacks and chances, with one falling to Oscar nearer half time that was a back hit that him only partially caught and yet it bobbled and rolled past the GK for a 2 - 1 scoreline.

Chappie had managed to come all the way over to see us and gave a half time talk and we did well, and must have had 3-4 shots that missed the post by an inch. Some niggling moments, and few flare-ups and pretty poor reffing from one side really did little to help but it end at 2 - 1.

Not to go and we are in need of at least a few points in our last 4 games, as we are sliding down the League placings right now and it could get a little to close for comfort soon.
