Mens C 1 - 3 KNS

25 April 2010
HKFC C vs. KNS (1-3)

Right before the match, we were told that KNS beat Team B last week. Together with our 1st round 2-1 loss, we knew this game was a tough one, though our league ranking was better.

After one minute silence to show mark of respect to the dead and to mourn the victims of the Qinghai Earthquake in China, the game started.

KNS kept doing simple tactics, vertical hitting, trapping by forward, one against one dribbling, facing the goal keeper. The first goal happened at the 3rd minute of the game with the captioned tactics. The ball was shot to the left side of the unprepared goalie. 1-0 down. Our team tried to get something back, with some good passing, shooting and short corners, but no luck.

After Chappie's half time speech, we kept pressing the opponents. Without much success, then, a doubtful high hitting ball dropped to our 25 yard. Two KNS forwards played against J-Dog plus Vincent. 2-0 down. When our whole team was attacking, another quick pass made a 5 yard shooting. 3-0 down. Finally, we found a chance and got a short corner, Ralph shot to the right bottom corner of the goal and converted into 3-1.

Though our team was 3-1 down, we showed the team spirit and kept the form till the last minute.
