The team social secretaries are listed here. Contact your captain or vice as a back up if for some reason you can't get a response out of your social sec - no excuses! 

Social secs will be briefed on the 2010 events listed below. Use your team social secretary to talk to the organisers about any questions or feedback you may wish to provide.

NEW for 2010 the section's committee has voted to charge all members in advance for the two main social events of the year, The End of Season Ball & The Christmas Party. The AGM & Awards evening will continue to be funded by the section. 

The charge for the two main social events will appear on your account the month after we announce the price of the tickets on this website and over email.

Only people that have registered on the HKFC hockey website will receive this email, so make sure you have registered on HKFC Hockey by clicking here to fill in the online form.

People that do not want to attend events must tell their social secretaries who will then arrange for you not to be charged: your team social secretaries are listed here.

Requests for refunds must be placed in writing to your team's social secretary no less than 14 calendar days prior to the event.

By charging in advance we believe this will better engage all members in making a decision to attend each event. The dates for 2010 have been announced well in advance to help you plan your attendance.

With pre-charging in place we wish to promote a more focused & timely discussion within all teams about having the majority of each squad attend. We would like to encourage players to be more pro-active in engaging their team's social secretaries, captains and vice-captains in a dialogue regarding attendance at social events; and vice versa.

Please note that you will still be asked to confirm your attendance for each pre-charged event by your team's social secretary as numbers attending need to be confirmed with the Club's F&B and seating needs to be arranged.

Generally speaking, the committee is looking for more commitment from across the section for the two main social events as well as other events like the opening season BBQ, most particularly amongst the men.

End of Season Ball, Friday May 28th: pre-charged.

AGM & Section Awards, Friday June 11th: free (section will fund drinks and nibbles)

Christmas Fancy Dress Party, Friday December 10th: pre-charged.
