Club did look the better side for large periods of the match, but lapses in concentration allowed KNS to employ their only tactic – Route One – with surprising effectiveness. Club twice took the lead only to be quickly pegged back by the oppo. It goes to show that there is something in that old adage about being most vulnerable right after you have scored.
A good performance from Ralph on his return to action after a couple of months away, however man of the match goes to Tom Rhodes for his tirelessness and for a cracking finish for the third goal. DOTD goes to Wilko for what can only be described as a howler for the first KNS strike – good start to 2011!
A point is still a point though and the C’s remain 4th in the first division after a good first half to the season. Next game is the big one against local rivals, Valley B.
