It's always a worry when facing-off against Valley particularly when they have a legion of subs, a rather vocal coach, and young, sprightly forwards to compete against.  However, experience and cunning won out in the end.

 

A quick result for the Dinos in the first 5 minutes of the match - a beautiful goal scored by Lisa Foley, set-up by Lizzie Dendle and Di May, took Valley by surprise (and the Dinos too!)

 

Angered by our efforts, an onslaught ensued with Valley B hunkering down in our 'D'.  However, no goals for them!  We managed to block, kick and knock them back despite only having 1 substitute and several years on their team.

 

By the second half, the Dinos moved the match to the Valley 'D'.  Despite some fantastic attacks on goal, the match ended 1-0 to the Dinos! 

 

Player of the match went to Paul Wymond, who played a stormer after months of injury.  Don't congratulate her too much though, she'll get ideas above her station.
