How long have you been playing, and where did you start: I first started playing hockey when I was at Hurstpierpoint College (in the UK) at the age of 10.

What’s been your HKFC hockey highlight: A lot of great things have happened since I joined HKFC… for example, winning the first pre-season 3rd Midtha Singh Tournament. It is also an honour to be part of the hockey stories of all our young talent – from coaching them from mini hockey and seeing them grow through their hockey careers until I play alongside them in the As! Of course, it is also a massive privilege to be part of the coaching team, especially Chappie, who has helped me grow as a player, and a coach!

What’s been your overall hockey career highlight: It has to be winning bronze in the 2016 AHF Cup with the Hong Kong Team, followed closely by being the top goal scorer at the Asian Games Qualifiers in Oman in 2018.

Favourite thing about playing for HKFC: The community and culture, both on and off the field – the support during matches has always been incredible, and all the social events that are held throughout the year make it clear that hockey is “more than a game” at HKFC.

Tell us something about yourself you don’t think other people would know: Alcohol is bad for me…

Ken plays in the Men’s As and is their top goal scorer. He is also a member of the HKFC Hockey Coaching Team.
