TUESDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER - Regular training begins for ABC women's squads, 7:00pm - 8:30pm & men's ABCD squads, 8:30pm - 10:00pm

2014-2015 SENIOR TRIALS

The second round of Men's and Women's Hockey Trial dates and times are set for the following:

Saturday 6th September - 

Ladies D vs E: @ 2:00pm

Ladies C vs HKCC A: @ 3:30pm

Ladies A & B & Valley A: @ 4:30pm

Ladies F vs G: @ 6:00pm

Sunday 7th September -

Men's H vs Youth X1 @ 9:00am 

Men's A vs Valley A @ 10:30am

Men's C vs Valley B @ 12:00pm TBC

Men's D vs E @ 1:30pm

Men's B vs Shaheen A @ 3:00pm

Men's F vs G @ 4:30pm

 

All players to bring both sets of playing kit (home and away), and any new trial players please bring a dark shirt and white shirt to wear. New trial players to approach organisers on the pitch sideline half-an-hour before applicable trial session. Due to limited space available in existing squads, selection priority will be given to players in higher divisions. Further trial games and training sessions will be conducted over the course of the following 2 weeks. Individuals will be advised accordingly as to whether they will need to continue attending and for which squad. 


HKFC HOCKEY

The Hockey Section has over 300 Members who are registered with the Hong Kong Hockey Association. From this membership the Section fields a total of 15 teams, including eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams, which compete in the Hong Kong League system and a number of knockout cup competitions. In addition to the serious competitive sporting activities of the Section, it also boasts a very active social scene with regular parties, dinners, a Christmas Party, and formal end-of-Season Ball.

Allied to the Hockey Section there is a very active Junior Hockey Section which attracts Members and Non-Members’ children to learn the game of hockey from as young as six years old. The Junior Hockey Section participates on a regular basis with weekly training sessions. It competes in various age groups at Mini and Youth Hockey tournaments, and hosts one of the largest Mini Hockey Festivals in Hong Kong. The Youth and Mini teams have also established an annual tour to Singapore where they compete in the Asia Pacific Cup. The tour has become a highlight on the annual calendar.
