HKFC HOCKEY

The Hockey Section has over 300 Members who are registered with the Hong Kong Hockey Association. From this membership the Section fields a total of 15 teams, including eight men’s teams and seven women’s teams, which compete in the Hong Kong League system and a number of knockout cup competitions. In addition to the serious competitive sporting activities of the Section, it also boasts a very active social scene with regular parties, dinners, a Christmas Party, and formal end-of-Season Ball.

Allied to the Hockey Section there is a very active Junior Hockey Section which attracts Members and Non-Members’ children to learn the game of hockey from as young as six years old. The Junior Hockey Section participates on a regular basis with weekly training sessions. It competes in various age groups at Mini and Youth Hockey tournaments, and hosts one of the largest Mini Hockey Festivals in Hong Kong. The Youth and Mini teams have also established an annual tour to Singapore where they compete in the Asia Pacific Cup. The tour has become a highlight on the annual calendar.

Currently both the Senior and Junior Hockey Sections are fully subscribed. New memberships will be considered on a individual basis subject to committee approval.
